Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Order Entry Representative to support daily operations in Akron, Ohio!

The candidate will by manage both inbound and outbound orders, maintain accurate records, and provid excellent customer service. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
 
Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Pay: $17.00/hr
Shift: M-F 8:00am – 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and enter customer orders into the system accurately and efficiently.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound shipments, verifying documentation and printing labels based on customer requirements.
  • Prepare documents such as work orders, shipping orders, bills of lading, and manifests.
  • Verify shipment details against records and ensure accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Support inventory management by tracking materials and reporting discrepancies.
  • File and maintain records including invoices, receipts, and correspondence.
  • Provide phone support and assist customers with order or shipping questions.
  • Assist with additional administrative tasks and projects as needed.
 
Essential Skills & Requirements:
  • Strong data entry and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Reliable and punctual with strong time management skills.
  • Comfortable with light physical tasks, including occasional lifting.
