Outside sales Representative
Job Description
We are looking for an enterprising, self-starting individual to join our company as an Outside Sales Representative. As part of our team, you recognize and cultivate potential sales leads, travel to meet with prospective clients, and endeavor to transform one-off sales into lasting beneficial relationships. You use your skills in deal closing, direct sales, B2B sales, and niche marketing to demonstrate to leads just our products can benefit their bottom line.
Job Responsibilities
- The Outside Sales Representative will work as an ambassador and be responsible for going business-to-business to market and sell products and services offered by the company
- Travel to different territories going business-to-business with the goal of selling merchandise and service
- Communicates with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifies and suggests products and services to meet those needs
- Sets up and demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their need
- Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily
- Educate business decision-makers on how products and services can benefit them financially and professionally
- Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers
- Convince client to purchase product using a sales script
- Follow up with visited prospects to funnel them further through the sales process
- Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others
Qualifications
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service abilities
- Exceptional sales and negotiation expertise
- Proficiency in thriving within a dynamic, occasionally high-pressure setting
- Requirement for dependable transportation
- Willingness to engage in daily on-foot travel
