Job Summary:
As a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a crucial role in shaping and maintaining the organization's technology infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize resilient infrastructure solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Design and Deployment:
  • Architect and deploy enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions, focusing on Windows Servers, Citrix Apps/Desktops, and various Microsoft Azure services.
  • Configure and manage virtualization platforms, including VMware and Hyper-V.
  • Implement and maintain cloud services, particularly Microsoft Intune, Identity, and Azure.
Networking and Connectivity:
  • Design, configure, and troubleshoot network components such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Implement and manage SD-WAN solutions to enhance network performance and reliability.
  • Ensure seamless wireless connectivity across the organization.
Security and Compliance:
  • Collaborate with security teams to enforce best practices and compliance standards.
  • Implement access controls, encryption, and intrusion detection systems.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
  • Monitor infrastructure performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans.
  • Investigate incidents and provide timely resolutions.
Stay Current:
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.
  • Apply this knowledge to improve infrastructure design and operations.

Qualifications/Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience in designing and managing complex IT environments.
  • 10+ years of experience supporting large, multi-location businesses.
  • Strong expertise in Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
  • Hands-on experience with Nutanix or similar hyperconverged infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in SD-WAN deployment and wireless networking.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and other cloud platforms.
  • Experience with FortiGate firewalls.
