Job Description

Everstaff is seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable Coordinator for an exceptional company located in Mentor, OH. 

This candidate will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of customer invoices, payments, and bank deposits.

Pay: $22-$26/hr
Schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm 
Temp-to-Hire Opportunity

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Apply customer deposits and maintain the deposit log.
  • Support the processing and application of customer payments.
  • Process and apply customer credit card payments.
  • Assist with daily and monthly accounts receivable closing activities.
  • Obtain invoice status updates from customer third-party platforms.
  • Research and support payment remittance inquiries.
  • Respond to Certificates of Insurance (COI) requests from customers and internal staff.
  • Maintain current COI files and minimize duplications.
  • Handle customer statement requests.
  • Assist with processing credit memos.
  • Provide backup coverage for the reception area as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with both internal departments and external customers.
  • Collaborate with and assist other team members within the department as required.
Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer/typing skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and meeting high-volume deadlines.
  • Basic accounting knowledge.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of related accounts receivable or accounting experience, preferred.
