Job Description
EverStaff, a specialized recruiting firm, is actively searching for potential candidates for Direct Hire positions with one of our top clients. These positions entail direct employment with the client that offers exceptional work culture, benefits, PTO, and growth potential.
Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical assembly, working with hand and power tools, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of assembled products. The Assembly Technician will play a crucial role in our production process, contributing to the efficient assembly of components and products according to established standards.
Shift: 1st
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr. - $22.00/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical assembly of components and parts according to blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to assemble and test products.
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of assembled products by conducting thorough inspections and testing.
- Troubleshoot assembly issues and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Document assembly processes, including any modifications or adjustments made during assembly.
- Assist in inventory management by accurately tracking and reporting used materials and parts.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of assembly techniques and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and blueprints accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot assembly issues.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and practices in a manufacturing setting.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new assembly techniques and technologies.
