Associate Attorney – Insurance Defense

A well-established law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 2–5 years of experience in insurance defense to join its dynamic litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to gain hands-on experience and build a strong foundation in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a caseload of insurance defense matters from inception through resolution
- Draft and argue motions, including dispositive motions
- Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, discovery, and correspondence
- Take and defend depositions, including plaintiffs, witnesses, and experts
- Participate in court appearances, hearings, and mediations
- Work closely with partners and clients to develop case strategy
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- 2–5 years of insurance defense experience required
- Active license and in good standing in the applicable state
- Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
