Details:
Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8am to 5pm (Hybrid) 
Annual Salary: $85K DOE

Overview:
As a Business Systems Analyst, you will be instrumental in developing a deep understanding of specific business applications and technologies to enhance overall business performance. Your daily activities will reflect an IT culture focused on quality, responsiveness, customer service, productivity, and results. Collaborating closely with business owners and end-users, you will ensure superior outcomes. Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, you'll maintain transparent communication to uphold project objectives and address issues promptly.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prioritize the company’s people and customers while supporting its mission and culture.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Information Technology and business stakeholders to establish ambitious IT goals aligned with the company’s vision.
  • Enhance expertise in applications, business processes, and technologies within your domain.
  • Foster positive relationships with IT vendors and assess solutions for maximum value.
  • Coordinate project activities throughout their lifecycle, from design to support and enhancement.
  • Define tasks and resources meticulously to ensure timely and within-budget project completion.
  • Participate in IT security audits, risk assessments, and implement corrective measures.
  • Address Help Desk requests promptly and effectively.
  • Engage with business owners to understand and enhance requirements, delivering solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Educate end-users on IT capabilities to improve productivity and business performance.
  • Evaluate and optimize business and IT processes for cost reduction and efficiency.
  • Maintain thorough documentation to comply with standards and requirements.
  • Cultivate a positive work environment based on respect, honesty, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with 5S standards and policies in work areas.
  • Maintain availability to address critical business and IT issues round the clock.
  • Adhere to safety and security procedures and utilize equipment properly.
  • Undertake other responsibilities or projects assigned by the manager.
Experience and Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in developing and/or supporting EDI solutions, preferably integrated with ERP systems such as JD Edwards.
  • Proficiency in EDI translation software, preferably EXTOL.
  • Ability to develop SQL processes for end-to-end EDI operations.
  • Familiarity with SQL Server 2008 and/or 2012.
  • Detailed understanding of EDI transactions and communications (e.g., AS2, FTP) and trading partner setup.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.
  • Strong communication and networking skills.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, forward-thinking mindset, and adaptability to changing business requirements.

Education and Training:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or relevant field, or equivalent work experience.
