Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Billing Specialist for our client in Tampa. This role offers the chance to contribute to billing operations while supporting essential accounting functions. You’ll also have the opportunity to grow into a long-term role with hands-on training.
 
Direct-hire Opportunity
Shift: M-F 8am-5pm
Salary: $50,000

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with preparation and submission of client invoices using billing software
  • Track and process incoming vendor invoices and payments
  • Perform data entry for accounts payable and billing systems
  • Verify accuracy of billing and payment information
  • Communicate with attorneys, clients, and vendors regarding billing or payment status
  • Assist with monthly reconciliation and reporting
  • Maintain organized digital and physical financial records
  • Support the accounting team with general administrative duties as needed
 
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 0–2 years of experience in billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable or administrative support
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a collaborative team setting
