Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Salary: Up to $100,000
We are partnering with a well-established organization in the Columbus area that is seeking a Business Applications Specialist to support and optimize their internal software systems. This full-time position is primarily onsite with hybrid flexibility and offers an exciting opportunity for a tech-savvy professional who thrives on problem-solving, system integration, and cross-functional collaboration.
In this role, you’ll serve as a subject matter expert for key business applications—analyzing, implementing, maintaining, and improving software systems to enhance efficiency and support operational goals. You'll collaborate closely with internal departments and external vendors, lead technical projects, and ensure systems are properly aligned with organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, configure, and test features within business applications
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users
- Lead application upgrades, enhancements, and integration projects
- Gather and interpret system requirements from internal stakeholders
- Develop and maintain documentation, workflows, and user guides
- Train internal users and support ongoing system adoption
- Write PowerShell scripts and .NET code to automate tasks and improve functionality
- Extract and manipulate data via SQL, APIs, and reporting platforms
- Maintain vendor relationships and collaborate on system solutions
- Stay informed on new tools and trends to enhance application performance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in business application support or administration
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and .NET programming
- Experience with APIs and SQL-based data extraction and analysis
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
- Familiarity with system integrations, reporting tools, and application lifecycle management
- Ability to interpret and analyze data in Microsoft Excel
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- A clean driving record is required
