Business Development Specialist
Job Description
Everstaff is seeking a Business Development Representative for a reputable law firm in the Fairlawn area.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a strategic thinker, self-starter, and adaptable professional in a highly entrepreneurial role.
- Take charge of existing relationship management within the state while actively seeking and establishing new business opportunities.
- Leverage experience in inside sales, business development, referral sales, healthcare, and account management to drive results.
- Identify key contact points and cultivate strong relationships with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) to facilitate patient referrals.
- Address the needs of internal and external stakeholders, either independently or in collaboration with the team.
- Influence account profitability by driving increases in revenue, margin, and market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
- Identify and qualify new opportunities, developing plans to establish new collaborative relationships.
- Travel extensively, with a minimum of 75% of the time dedicated to critical meetings, quarterly business reviews, presentations, etc.
- Build trust and rapport with both new and established relationships.
- Assess HCP needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Support comprehensive business development programs that enhance company's image and position within the referral market.
- Deliver clear, consistent, and compelling messages, making convincing presentations that position company as the preferred provider.
- Achieve daily marketing and development call goals while maintaining thorough documentation.
- Communicate effectively and timely throughout the development process.
- Develop, cultivate, and maintain relationships with a variety of local and regional healthcare providers.
- Assist the Director of Operations in collaboration with senior management, physicians, and employees to maintain a strategic perspective based on market trends and client needs.
- Proactively monitor and respond to market trends.
- Provide advice and feedback on business development, communications, and market opportunities.
- Monitor competitive activities and report any significant changes.
- Assist with the initiation of responsive marketing and development campaigns as needed.
- Explore ways to promote the brand, expand the market, acquire new business, and increase awareness.

- A minimum of three years of experience in sales and/or marketing.
- Willingness to travel regularly across the state, including overnight stays.
- Self-motivated with strong prospecting and closing abilities.
- Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in territory management and market knowledge is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to create comprehensive sales plans and meet deadlines.
- High proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, vendors, clients, and colleagues.
- Adherence to all Standards of Behavior as outlined by CCOC.
- Compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and the organization’s Compliance Plan regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Preferred: 1 to 2 years of progressive experience in healthcare, specifically in business development, marketing/development, or communications, with proven success.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, healthcare, or marketing.
- Skills, knowledge, and experience in developing healthcare markets are a plus.
