Annual Salary: up to 110k annually DOE.

Job Summary:
The role of the Business Intelligence and Analytics Manager is integral to our organization's strategic decision-making processes. Working collaboratively with a diverse team, you'll be responsible for determining data requirements and crafting innovative, data-driven visualizations and solutions to support PLHS's operational reporting, marketing endeavors, and overall business strategy. This position involves developing sophisticated dashboards and reports using approved tools, establishing database structures and processes, and overseeing the management and maintenance of business data for reporting and intelligence purposes. Close collaboration with IT, Operations, and other departments within PLHS is essential to drive organization-wide BI initiatives and related projects forward.
 
Position Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and optimize data processes including intake, validation, mining, engineering, modeling, visualization, and communication deliverables.
  2. Interpret and communicate analytical results to stakeholders across leadership, operations, and IT.
  3. Implement quality controls and departmental standards to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.
  4. Collaborate with team members to identify and fulfill data requirements for Business Intelligence (BI) needs.
  5. Develop, modify, and maintain reports, dashboards, visualizations, and other BI tools to support decision-making.
  6. Lead cross-functional projects utilizing advanced data modeling and analysis techniques.
  7. Provide documentation and user support for BI tools produced.
  8. Execute ad-hoc queries and reporting from SQL and other databases.
  9. Collaborate with stakeholders and IT to streamline and automate intra-departmental data-related processes.
  10. Establish processes and database structures for secure and high-quality data collection and storage.
  11. Manage the creation, maintenance, and updates of departmental data sets.
  12. Identify opportunities to integrate business data across departments for new insights.
  13. Generate standard and ad-hoc analysis for business presentations and marketing material.
  14. Stay updated on the latest software developments.
  15. Build and maintain data models, reporting systems, automation systems, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  16. Design technical processes to address business challenges.
  17. Oversee the design and delivery of reports and insights analyzing business functions and performance metrics.
  18. Ensure accuracy of data and deliverables, implementing comprehensive policies and processes.
  19. Supervise the data/report requests process.
  20. Drive successful completion of data-driven initiatives through effective management and collaboration.
  21. Perform other assigned tasks as necessary.
Education and Experience Required:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, mathematics, computer science, or another quantitative field required.
  2. An additional four (4) years of relevant experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree. Master’s degree preferred.
  3. Six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in data analysis and analytics in a business environment required.
  4. Strong problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical skills.
  5. Working knowledge of data mining principles including predictive analytics, mapping, and data collection from multiple data systems.
  6. Experience in business reporting, analysis, economic or market research, forecasting, statistical and data analysis.
  7. Experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
