Job Description

We are seeking a Business Unit Controller for our client in Massachusetts. This is a direct hire with the company. The Business Unit Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of a specific business unit.
 
M-F 1st shift with full benefits.
Salary: $130,000 - $150,000
 
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analysis to senior management.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive financial performance.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process for the business unit, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
  • Develop and maintain financial forecasts, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor and control operating expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing measures to enhance efficiency.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related role
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity
