Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on experience)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Grinder/Polisher to join a growing manufacturing team in Canton, Ohio. This role is responsible for finishing metal parts to specification by grinding, sanding, and polishing, while maintaining quality and safety standards.
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Grinder/Polisher to join a growing manufacturing team in Canton, Ohio. This role is responsible for finishing metal parts to specification by grinding, sanding, and polishing, while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grind or sand sharp edges and burrs from metal parts
- Operate stroke, belt, and orbital sanders, as well as pneumatic grinders
- Work to close tolerances according to blueprints and specifications
- Perform pre-coating preparation and/or final finishing operations
- Locate, drill, countersink, tap, spot face, counterbore, and ream holes per prints
- Locate and weld studs according to blueprints
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and accuracy
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
- Stable work history
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
