Job Description
We are seeking a Controller to become an integral part of a growing company in the specialized health care industry! You will oversee financial activities and personnel as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee and coordinate all financial activities and personnel
• Spearhead daily accounting, financial planning, and business reporting as the company's inaugural dedicated leader
• Cultivate financial controls and procedures, periodically updating them while introducing automation and process enhancements
• Oversee month, quarter, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and reconciling discrepancies
• Collaborate with business line leaders and executives to create non-financial metrics reports, recommending new reports as needed
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting functions with support from the administrative team
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and related analyses in coordination with business leaders and the executive team
• Aid leadership in evaluating and implementing new financial and technological platforms, future acquisitions, and overall business strategies
