Job Description

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to support order entry and customer inquiries in a team-oriented office environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, solid computer proficiency, and prior customer service experience who enjoys assisting customers and working collaboratively with a small team.
 
Pay: $17.00/hr
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Job Type: Full-time
Work Location: In-person
 
Responsibilities:
  • Input customer orders, credits, and invoicing information accurately and in a timely manner
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders via phone, email, and fax
  • Assist customers with order issues and problem resolution
  • Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and internal team members
  • Contact vendors and request samples as needed
  • Perform administrative tasks including checking emails, faxes, and mail daily
  • Assist with invoice scanning and documentation
  • Write sample requests and special orders when necessary
  • Attend required training sessions and customer service meetings
  • Function as a collaborative team member within the department
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
 
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Prior experience in customer service, call center, or a related role
  • Foodservice industry experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills, including keyboarding and ten-key
  • Excellent listening, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a structured, standardized environment
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and perform data entry tasks
  • Team-oriented with a customer-first mindset
