Customer Service Representative
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative for a reputable manufacturing company in the North Royalton area. The Customer Service Representative aligns with sales staff in the delivery of premium sales, lead generation, customer service and follow-through, customer intimacy, and is responsible for all activities in assigned accounts in support of the overall goals, objectives, mission and vision of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Order Processing & Management - Enter, update, and manage customer orders, including changes, cancellations, and returns. Coordinate order acknowledgments, confirmations, and shipping documents
- Customer Communication & Support - Communicate regularly via phone, email, or EDI/fax to provide updates on pricing, delivery, and delays
- Issue Resolution - Address and resolve order, shipping, billing, or material issues in coordination with internal teams. Proactively inform customers of any service or production disruptions
- Account & Data Management - Maintain accurate customer data, pricing, and order history. Request approvals for changes as needed to ensure data accuracy
- Production & Logistics Coordination - Review production and inventory reports to support scheduling and meet delivery goals. Work closely with Purchasing and Planning on supply and safety stock needs
- Administrative & Billing Support - Support invoicing, billing adjustments, and returns. Track daily sales activity, communications, and performance metrics
Qualifications:
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
- Proven team player and a diligent customer advocate.
- Strong follow-up and time management skills along with the ability to effectively multi-task.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. CRM experience preferred.
