Director of Corporate Administration
Job Description
As the Director of Corporate Administration/HR Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing corporate administrative functions, ensuring the seamless execution of HR operations, and fostering a supportive work environment that enhances productivity and employee satisfaction. This senior leadership role requires a strong understanding of HR best practices, organizational efficiency, and a passion for driving people-centric strategies that support our overall business goals.
This is a direct hire with a company that has an excellent culture going for them.
Full time, Monday through Friday. Hybrid schedule with 3 days in office, and 2 days at home.
Salary: $80 - $90k
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Strategy: Lead and develop a high-performing team in HR operations, administration, and employee services. Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategies with company objectives and ensure the implementation of best practices across all HR functions.
- Operational Excellence: Manage day-to-day HR operations, including but not limited to, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, and compliance. Streamline processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the employee experience.
- HR Systems and Technology: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of HR systems, ensuring they are optimized to meet organizational needs. Drive continuous improvement in HR processes through the use of technology and data.
- Policy Development and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws, regulations, and internal policies. Develop, review, and implement HR policies that support a fair and inclusive work environment.
- Employee Engagement: Foster a positive organizational culture that prioritizes employee engagement, development, and retention. Advocate for employee wellbeing initiatives, ensuring a work-life balance that attracts and retains top talent.
- Talent Management: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop talent management programs that support succession planning, employee development, and performance optimization.
Key Qualifications:
- 6+ years of progressive experience in HR leadership, corporate administration, or related functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is a plus.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and working closely with senior leadership. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand and influence corporate strategy. Ability to align HR operations with organizational goals.
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, compensation and benefits, organizational development, and employee relations.
- Familiarity with HRIS, payroll systems, and other HR-related technologies. A passion for using data and technology to drive decision-making and operational improvements.
