Job Title: Air and Wiring Technician
Pay Rate:  $18/hr. - $20/hr.
Shift:  Monday - Thursday, 6:00am - 4:30pm, overtime on Fridays when needed.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Air and Wiring Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting air systems and electrical wiring in industrial and/or commercial environments. This role requires strong technical knowledge, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, inspect, and maintain air lines, compressors, and pneumatic systems.
  • Run electrical wiring for various machines and control panels.
  • Interpret and work from technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and air system malfunctions.
  • Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
  • Perform regular maintenance to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED; technical certification or trade school a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in electrical wiring and air system installation/repair.
  • Familiarity with pneumatic tools, systems, and HVAC components.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Comfortable working in various environments including heights and confined spaces.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred:
  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and procedures.
  • Basic computer literacy for logging work orders and documentation.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in physically demanding conditions for extended periods.
