Machine Operator – 1st Shift ($20/hr)
Location: Wickliffe, Ohio
 Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
 Shift: 1st Shift (Full-Time)
 
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator for a manufacturing facility in Wickliffe, OH. This position involves setting up and operating production equipment, monitoring processes, and ensuring parts meet quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate the #10 Bar Turner according to production specifications.
  • Ensure machinery is in proper working condition before and during operation.
  • Read and interpret work orders and product specifications.
  • Identify correct tooling based on steel grades.
  • Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and tape measures.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding equipment or production issues.
  • Meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Adhere to all company and safety policies, including ISO 9001:2008 standards.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
 
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior machine operation experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and use measuring instruments (mics, calipers, etc.).
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Must be able to work independently and communicate effectively.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
