Litigation Paralegal – Construction Defect or Insurance Defense
Location: Orlando, FL (On-site)
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Compensation: $55,000 to $75,000

A well-established insurance defense firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its team in Orlando. This full-time position offers the opportunity to support a team of attorneys in complex insurance defense matters, with a focus on construction defect and bodily injury cases.
Key Qualifications:
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in insurance defense litigation
  • Strong writing, proofreading, and communication skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Knowledge of Florida Rules of Civil Procedure and the Federal/Local Rules of the Middle District of Florida
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a collaborative legal environment
  • Proficiency in capturing billable time in compliance with client guidelines
Responsibilities Include:
  • Drafting and preparing legal documents, correspondence, trial exhibits, and hearing/mediation materials
  • Communicating with clients, judicial assistants, experts, and internal teams
  • Reviewing and summarizing medical, billing, employment, and insurance claim records
  • Providing litigation support to multiple attorneys throughout all phases of litigation
