Labor and Employment Litigation Attorney Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Labor and Employment Litigation Attorney for our client in Independence, OH.
The ideal candidate will have a background in labor and employment law, with a focus on handling litigation matters. This position involves representing clients in a variety of employment-related disputes, including but not limited to discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hours, and labor law matters.
Responsibilities: • Handle all aspects of labor and employment litigation, from case inception to resolution. • Represent clients in federal and state courts, administrative agencies, and alternative dispute resolution forums. • Collaborate with internal teams, including HR professionals and management, to provide legal support and ensure compliance with labor and employment laws. • Review and negotiate employment contracts, severance agreements, and other employment-related documents.
Qualifications: • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. • Admission to the state bar and in good standing. • 2+ years of experience practicing labor and employment law, with a focus on litigation. • Strong knowledge of federal and state labor and employment laws. • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills. • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. • Litigation experience in federal and state courts is preferred
