Job Description

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Legal Administrative Assistant to support our client in Minneapolis, MN.
 
This position is M-F, 1st shift.
Salary: $65 - $85k and full benefits
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Draft, edit, and prepare correspondence, documents, and agreements, including document comparisons, conversions, and pdf manipulations.
  • Electronically file litigation pleadings and related documents in state, federal, and appellate courts, both locally and nationally.
  • Manage the docketing of court orders, briefing schedules, and other court-mandated conferences, dates, and deadlines.
  • Maintain and organize electronic client files, including pleadings, indices, and other client documents.
  • Review and finalize attorney and paralegal time entries, and assist in managing client billing and invoices.
  • Provide general administrative support, including calendar management, scheduling meetings, conferences, depositions, and handling routine correspondence.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements (flights, accommodations, transportation) and report expenses.
  • Offer responsive, high-quality service to clients, attorneys, and colleagues.
 
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3-4 years of experience as a legal administrative assistant, preferably in business litigation
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Exceptional grammar, proofreading, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor, with a strong work ethic and accountability.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and under pressure to meet court deadlines.
  • Proficiency in office equipment, including computers and phones.
