Legal Assistant
Job Description
Everstaff is seeking a Legal Assistant for a reputable personal injury law firm to support attorneys with case management, document preparation, and client communication.
The candidate will play a key role in ensuring clients receive professional, organized, and compassionate service throughout the legal process.
Direct-Hire Opportunity!
Salary: $70,000-$80,000

Responsibilities:
- Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case status and updates
- Request, organize, and review medical records and billing
- Draft and format legal correspondence, pleadings, and settlement documents
- Manage case files and update internal systems with current case information
- Coordinate with adjusters, providers, courts, and opposing counsel as needed
- Assist with discovery, trial preparation, and scheduling mediations or depositions
- Provide general administrative support to attorneys and the legal team
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably in Personal Injury or similar field
- Strong administrative and organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal document preparation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality
- High school diploma or equivalent required
