IP Litigation Paralegal
Hybrid
Location: NY, Boston, or DC
Salary range based on experience level: $67,000 to $140,000
A leading, well-established law firm is seeking an IP Litigation Paralegal to join its team in a hybrid capacity, with opportunities available in New York, Boston, or Washington, DC. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated intellectual property matters within a collaborative and fast-paced litigation environment.
Position Overview
This role supports attorneys through all phases of intellectual property litigation, including discovery, motion practice, Markman hearings, trial, and appeal. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and experienced in managing complex litigation workflows and electronic discovery.

Key Responsibilities
- Support IP litigation matters from inception through trial and appeal across federal courts and administrative venues
- Prepare and manage court filings, including drafting, proofreading, cite-checking, and assembling exhibits and appendices
- Coordinate and manage electronic discovery, including document review, database management, and production workflows
- Assist with litigation holds, data collection, custodian interviews, and document productions
- Provide comprehensive trial support, including exhibit preparation, witness binders, and courtroom logistics
- Maintain case calendars, dockets, and deadlines, ensuring attorneys are informed of key milestones
- Conduct legal research and draft correspondence and basic pleadings
- Collaborate with attorneys, vendors, and internal teams to ensure efficient case management
- Assist with mentoring junior staff and contributing to team initiatives
Qualifications
- 2 to 10 years of experience supporting intellectual property litigation (additional experience preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience with complex litigation and trial support preferred
- Familiarity with ITC and PTAB proceedings is a plus
- Strong experience with eDiscovery platforms (e.g., Relativity)
- Proficiency with litigation tools including Case Notebook/LiveNote, Westlaw, PACER, and Microsoft Office
- Solid understanding of Bluebook citation and federal court procedures
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

- Salary range: $67,500 – $144,500, depending on experience
