Associate Attorney – Personal Injury
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney for a well-established law firm in Grosse Point. This position is ideal for an attorney looking to grow their career in a collaborative and professional environment. The successful candidate will work closely with senior attorneys and partners, gaining exposure to a variety of practice areas and client matters.
Salary: $90,000–$95,000

Responsibilities
- Assist senior attorneys with case management, client communications, and legal research.
- Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and other proceedings as appropriate.
- Conduct thorough legal research and prepare supporting memoranda.
- Participate in negotiations and settlement discussions.
- Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with firm and court procedures.
- Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure quality client service.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed (or pending admission) to practice law in the State of Michigan.
- Up to 5 years of experience practicing law (litigation, general practice, or similar background preferred).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and research abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a commitment to professional development.
