Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced  Litigation Paralegal for our client in Memphis. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting attorneys throughout all phases of personal injury cases — from initial client intake through trial preparation and settlement. This position requires strong litigation experience, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct client interviews and gather relevant information for case development
  • Draft, file, and serve legal documents including complaints, answers, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and motions
  • Maintain case files and manage case calendars (deadlines, hearings, depositions, trials)
  • Coordinate medical record requests, bills, and liens from providers
  • Summarize medical records and prepare demand packages for settlement negotiations
  • Assist with deposition, mediation, and trial preparation
  • Track litigation deadlines and ensure timely filings in accordance with court rules
  • Communicate with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and court personnel

Qualifications:
  • Associate’s degree or Paralegal Certificate required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with emphasis on personal injury cases
  • Proficiency in legal software (e.g., Clio, Needles, MyCase, TrialWorks) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and court filing systems (state and federal)
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a legal team
  • Experience handling pre-litigation and litigation phases of personal injury cases

Preferred Skills:
  • Trial support experience, including exhibit preparation and courtroom logistics
