Associate Attorney – Commercial Litigation
Tampa or Naples, Florida

A nationally recognized AmLaw 200 law firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate with 2–3 years of experience to join its growing Florida practice in either Tampa or Naples.

This role offers hands-on litigation experience and the opportunity to work closely with seasoned trial lawyers on sophisticated commercial matters, both locally and across offices.
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Researching and drafting legal memoranda and dispositive motions
  • Appearing and arguing at hearings in state and federal court, as well as arbitration proceedings
  • Drafting and responding to written discovery
  • Taking and defending depositions
  • Managing smaller matters with limited supervision
  • Collaborating with teams across offices on larger, complex cases
Qualifications:
  • 2–3 years of commercial litigation experience
  • Strong academic credentials
  • Excellent legal writing and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated initiative, professionalism, and attention to detail
  • Interest in long-term growth with a clear path to partnership
