Job Description

Our client is seeking a dedicated and driven Personal Injury Attorney to join its growing plaintiff-side practice. This role offers the opportunity to advocate for injured clients while handling meaningful, high-impact cases from intake through resolution. The ideal candidate is client-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing personal injury matters independently while collaborating closely with a supportive legal team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial client consultations and evaluate potential personal injury claims
  • Analyze liability, damages, and insurance coverage issues
  • Maintain responsibility for cases from intake through settlement, arbitration, or trial
  • Communicate regularly with clients, providing clear updates and guidance throughout the case lifecycle
  • Draft and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and discovery responses
  • Prepare settlement demands and supporting documentation
  • Negotiate with insurance adjusters and defense counsel to secure favorable outcomes
  • Handle depositions, mediations, and court appearances
  • Assist with trial preparation, including witness preparation and exhibit review
  • Manage deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedural requirements
  • Work closely with paralegals and legal assistants to ensure efficient case progression
  • Coordinate with firm leadership on case strategy and settlement authority
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in case management processes and client service standards
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
  • Active bar admission in Massachusetts
  • Experience handling personal injury matters preferred, though strong litigation or civil experience will be considered
  • Strong legal research, writing, and drafting skills
  • Excellent negotiation and advocacy abilities
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first mindset
  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
