Job Description
- Manage the full recruitment life cycle for legal roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placing attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and other legal support staff.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with legal professionals and clients to understand their staffing needs and provide tailored recruiting solutions.
- Source candidates using various methods such as job boards, social media, networking events, referrals, and legal industry associations.
- Conduct interviews and assess candidates’ qualifications, legal expertise, and cultural fit with client organizations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand the scope of legal roles, including specific job requirements, responsibilities, and qualifications needed for each position.
- Negotiate and extend job offers to candidates, ensuring alignment with both candidate and client expectations.
- Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all recruitment activities, including candidate records, communication, and placements.
- Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) such as placements, interviews, client satisfaction, and time-to-fill.
- Stay updated on industry trends and labor market conditions within the legal sector.
- Proven experience in legal recruiting or staffing, ideally within a law firm or recruiting agency.
- Strong understanding of legal roles, including attorney, paralegal, and legal support functions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Proficient with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Microsoft Office Suite, and recruiting tools.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to both client and candidate satisfaction.
- Strong knowledge of recruiting techniques, including social media recruiting, active sourcing methods, and industry networking.
