Wire Pulling & Respooling Technician
Job Location: Solon, Ohio
Pay: $20.00/hr. - $25.00/hr. BOE
Pay: $20.00/hr. - $25.00/hr. BOE
Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
Job Summary
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Wire Pulling & Respooling Technician to join our team. This position involves pulling wire, handling and organizing wire products, respooling material, and preparing wire for production or shipment.
The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, physically capable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with tools and equipment in a hands-on environment.
Responsibilities
- Pull and handle wire according to job specifications.
- Respool wire onto reels and spools using appropriate equipment.
- Measure, cut, and organize wire as required.
- Inspect wire for damage, defects, or quality issues.
- Properly label and identify wire and finished spools.
- Load and unload wire, reels, and materials.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Follow company safety procedures and operating instructions.
- Operate basic production equipment and hand tools as needed.
- Accurately complete production paperwork and material records.
- Work efficiently to meet daily production goals.
- Perform other warehouse and production duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, warehouse, wire-handling, or production experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and follow basic instructions.
- Good attention to detail and ability to accurately measure materials.
- Ability to safely lift and move materials.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn equipment and company procedures.
- Experience operating forklifts, cranes, or other material-handling equipment is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.
- Ability to work around manufacturing and production equipment.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements when necessary.
