Litigation Attorney
Job Description
Everstaff is currently partnering with a well-established and growing legal practice in the Akron, Ohio area to identify a Litigation Attorney. This role offers the chance to handle a full caseload, work closely with support staff, and contribute to a high-performing litigation team.
Salary: $110,000-$120,000

Responsibilities:
- Handle an assigned caseload through all stages of the litigation process from intake through resolution
- Review medical records, insurance policies, and related documentation in detail to evaluate claims
- Negotiate settlements on complex matters and move cases forward in a timely and strategic manner
- Maintain direct communication with clients, providing status updates and guidance throughout the case
- Participate in independent medical examinations, examinations under oath, and recorded statements as required
- Collaborate with legal support staff and management to ensure cases are progressing efficiently
- Exercise sound judgment while maintaining strict confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Assist with additional litigation-related tasks as needed to support successful case outcomes and overall team performance
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in personal injury litigation
- Proven negotiation skills with a track record of high-value settlements
- Exceptional communication and persuasive writing ability
- A competitive mindset and strong organizational discipline
- Confidence in analyzing complex cases and making strategic recommendations
- Proficiency in legal tech, case management tools, and Microsoft Office
