Job Description:
 We are seeking a motivated and experienced Litigation Legal Secretary to support a team of Attorneys. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial litigation, including areas such as Workers Compensation, Labor/Employment, and Insurance Defense. This role is perfect for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual who can manage a high volume of tasks with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to multiple Attorneys, managing daily tasks efficiently.
  • Prepare legal documents and correspondence for litigation matters.
  • Open and maintain client files, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.
  • Coordinate meetings, depositions, and hearings.
  • Handle filing, including e-filing and filing with courts and government agencies.
  • Perform time entry and billing tasks.
  • Scan and organize documents as needed.
  • Maintain and manage documents using Netdocs (experience a plus).
  • Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
 
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Litigation Legal Secretary, with 5+ years preferred.
  • Strong experience supporting multiple Attorneys in a legal setting.
  • Experience with commercial litigation, including Workers Compensation, Labor/Employment, and Insurance Defense, is highly preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) with exceptional typing speed and accuracy.
  • Strong filing/e-filing skills with experience in court filings.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Netdocs experience is a huge plus.
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to manage confidential information.
  • Construction and labor law experience Nice to have, but not required.

  • Ability to handle complex and detailed work with minimal supervision.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work.
