Location: New Orleans, Louisiana
 
Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of litigation experience and possess exceptional organizational and communication skills. This position supports multiple busy attorneys and requires the ability to manage complex cases effectively.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
  • Manage document production, including scanning, organizing, and conducting database searches.
  • File documents with courts and government agencies.
  • Maintain case calendars, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Conduct legal research and assist with trial preparation.
  • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
 
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Paralegal, with a strong background in commercial litigation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong calendaring, scheduling, and case management abilities.
  • Ability to type with speed and accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple deadlines.
  • Experience supporting multiple attorneys in a fast-paced environment.
  • Construction and labor law experience is a plus, but not required.
