Job Description

EverStaff, a specialized recruiting firm, is actively searching for potential candidates for Direct Hire positions with one of our top clients. These positions entail direct employment with the client that offers exceptional work culture, benefits, PTO, and growth potential.
 
Pay Rate:  $22.00/hr. - $26.00/hr.
Shift:  1st and 2nd
 
Machine Operator
Responsible for operating a variety of fabrication machinery such as drill presses, shear presses, and brake presses to produce high-quality metal and component parts according to specifications. Ensures accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to safety standards throughout the production process.
 
Key Duties:
  • Set up, operate, and monitor fabrication machines including drill, shear, and brake presses.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production specifications.
  • Measure, cut, and shape materials to exact tolerances.
  • Perform routine inspections and quality checks on finished parts.
  • Maintain machines by performing basic troubleshooting and reporting issues.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.
 
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience with fabrication or metalworking equipment.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to safety and efficiency.
