Machinist/Grinder

Job Description
Join our team as a Machinist, where you'll contribute to precision metal part production. Operating various machine tools, you'll work from blueprints and ensure quality products. The role involves machine setup, grinding, part inspection, and adherence to safety regulations.
Shift: 1st M-F 7am to 3:30pm with occasional OT on Saturdays

Essential Job Duties:
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Promote safety by wearing required protective equipment.
- Ensure equipment operation through maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Optimize production by preparing for the next job and organizing the work area.
- Perform daily machine maintenance.
- Complete the shop traveler with hours worked on customer parts.
- Perform other duties related to machining skills.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant experience and/or education; or equivalent combination.
- Operate machinery, perform basic math, and read blueprints.
- Read and comprehend instructions, write simple correspondence, and follow directions.
- Apply common sense, solve problems, and learn through oral instruction and observation.
