Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Petersburg, VA. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery, equipment, and building systems to keep operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate will bring strong mechanical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery, equipment, and building systems to keep operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate will bring strong mechanical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and building systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
- Rebuild and service pumps, motors, and other plant equipment as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential maintenance concerns.
- Complete work orders efficiently and document maintenance activities accurately.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: $25.00 - $32.25 per hour
