Job Description

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of marketing and advertising projects from inception to completion. This role involves various tasks including research, copywriting, project management, and reporting to drive effective promotion strategies.

Salary:
  • $55,000-$70,000
 
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and communicate marketing strategies for assigned product lines or programs within specified timelines.
  • Ensure timely completion of all assignments as directed by the Marketing Director or Manager.
  • Proofread written and designed materials for accuracy and quality standards.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to support product or program development.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously through all stages of development.
  • Coordinate industry and internal research to inform product-specific programs.
  • Propose and implement new product ideas and strategies.
  • Foster relationships with manufacturing facilities and other departments to enhance marketing initiatives.
  • Plan and organize projects for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Print Production Planner to manage scheduling and troubleshoot issues.
  • Utilize marketing budgets efficiently to minimize costs.
  • Generate creative solutions to improve project efficiencies.
  • Communicate progress, issues, and special circumstances to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain updated production schedules and provide monthly summary reports.
  • Support internal and external customers through prompt follow-up and assistance.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and effective interpersonal skills in all interactions.
  • Maintain punctuality and attendance records.
  • Take initiative to enhance skills and knowledge related to company products and marketing techniques.
  • Provide backup support to sales regarding product-related information.
  • Maintain organized files and records for all marketing programs.
  • Develop and deliver presentations for internal and external audiences.
  • Fulfill other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Comprehensive understanding of product lines and industry trends.
  • Proficiency in communication, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Three to five years of relevant Marketing experience.
  • Effective presentation and problem-solving skills.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.
  • Ability to take direction and work independently.
  • Integrity and transparency in all job functions.
  • Proactive communication with key stakeholders.
