Mechanic Forklift Heavy Equipment
Job Description
We are a growing company in the Macedonia area seeking experienced Forklift Technicians and Maintenance Mechanics to join our team. This is a great opportunity to work with a stable, expanding organization that values skilled trades professionals and offers steady hours with overtime available.
Pay: $30–$35/hr + Overtime
Shifts: 1st & 2nd Shift Available
Shifts: 1st & 2nd Shift Available
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts and production equipment
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery
- Troubleshoot and repair pumps, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Complete mechanical assembly and component replacement tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
- Document maintenance work and repairs performed
Requirements
- Prior manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience required
- Forklift repair or heavy equipment maintenance experience preferred
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
- Basic math and reading skills
- Ability to work assigned shift and overtime as needed
