Job Title: NOC Engineer
 
EverStaff has a well-established client in Findlay, OH looking for a NOC Engineer.
 
We're seeking a dedicated NOC Engineer to join our team, responsible for continuous evaluation, improvement and overall strategy of the organization’s route\switch offering. Provides meaningful and accurate insights, analytics, and assessments to ensure the offering is relevant with the latest technologies and methods, while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Pay: $70 - $75K
 
Key Responsibilities
  1. Manages and maintains network systems including server applications, routers, switches, firewalls, storage devices, and other network equipment.
  2. Configure and manage Palo Alto Firewalls to ensure robust network security.
  3. Provides deep network analysis concerning usage trends, recurring events, as well as outage and incident patterns.
  4. Designs, implements and manages policy and procedure concerning network surveillance system interaction.
  5. Serves to administrate and manage network surveillance platforms.
  6. Provides escalation for network-level troubleshooting activities as well as customer-level troubleshooting activities.
  7. Knowledge of telecommunications products and services.
  8. Solid understanding of Palo Alto Firewall administration and configuration.
  9. Solid understanding of Service Provider transport networks.
  10. Solid understanding of the OSI layer and LAN/WAN protocols and technologies such as Ethernet, TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing, Switching, NAT, ACL, etc.
 
Qualifications & Experience
  1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a similar technical field .
  2. 3+ years of relevant work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  3. Cisco CCNA, CCNP, or similar certifications preferred.
