Job Description

We are looking for an Onboarding and Underwriting Specialist for our client in Pepper Pilke! In this pivotal position, you will serve as the primary point of contact, meticulously evaluating and researching potential new business ventures.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Thoroughly review underwriting applications, meticulously tracking and managing documentation requirements.
  • Collaborate with third-party research vendors, including Equifax, Dun & Bradstreet, LexisNexis, and CreditSafe, to obtain essential reports.
  • Analyze and interpret financial statements to assess the financial health and risk profile of prospective clients.
  • Maintain accurate records in our CRM system, meticulously documenting applicant, client, and principal information.
  • Facilitate internal communication by preparing and circulating announcements regarding newly approved clients.
  • Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills in managing documents and data effectively.
 
Required Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook to efficiently manage tasks and communications.
  • Strong ability to work independently, demonstrating self-motivation and initiative.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, enabling effective management of a high volume of information and tasks.
  • Ability to review and analyze financial statements to assess the financial viability of prospective clients.
  • Previous office experience, demonstrating familiarity with office procedures and protocols.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as finance, accounting, or business administration.
  • Comfortable with external communication, facilitating interactions with clients and external stakeholders.
