Job Description
Everstaff is seeking a Paralegal for a prominant law firm in the Beachwood area.
Key Responsibilities:
· Case Management: Assist in managing all phases of high-asset estate and trust dispute cases, including intake, discovery, and trial preparation.
· Document Preparation: Draft, review, and organize legal documents, including pleadings, motions, affidavits, and correspondence.
· Research: Conduct thorough legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents related to estate and trust disputes.
· Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on case status and gathering necessary information.
· Filing and Record Keeping: Ensure timely filing of legal documents with courts and maintain organized and up-to-date case files.
· Discovery Support: Assist in the preparation and management of discovery processes, including the collection, review, and organization of documents.
· Trial Preparation: Coordinate with attorneys to prepare for hearings, depositions, and trials, including the organization of exhibits and evidence.
· Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating with court personnel.

Qualifications:
· Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field; Paralegal certification preferred.
· Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably in estate planning, probate, or trust litigation.
· Skills:
- Strong understanding of estate and trust law.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research software (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw).
- Ability to manage multiple cases and tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary: $65,000-80,000 based on experience
