Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Injury Paralegal for our client in Cleveland, OH. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to attorneys in handling personal injury cases. Direct hire opportunity with full benefits!
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct client interviews and gather relevant case information
- Assist in the preparation of legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
- Maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is organized and up-to-date
- Conduct legal research on relevant statutes, regulations, and case law
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
- Assist in the preparation of discovery requests and responses
- Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for hearings, depositions, and trials
- Stay updated on changes in personal injury laws and procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification
- Proven experience as a personal injury paralegal
- Strong knowledge of personal injury laws and legal procedures
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in legal research and document preparation
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness
