Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Paralegal for a prestigious firm in Houston, TX.

Shift: M-F 1st shift
Salary: $75 - $90k
Benefits: Medical (employer paid), dental, vision, 401k

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.
  • Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and gather relevant case information.
  • Manage case files, ensuring all documents are organized and up-to-date.
  • Communicate with clients, medical providers, and other parties involved in cases.
  • Prepare and summarize reports, medical records, and other evidence for case review.
  • Assist in the discovery process, including document production and interrogatories.
  • Maintain case management software and ensure compliance with deadlines.
 
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, with a focus on personal injury law.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documents.
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
