Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal for our client in Burbank! The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing personal injury cases, supporting attorneys, and ensuring efficient case progression from intake to resolution. 
Salary:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and draft complaints, motions, and other case-related pleadings.
  • Respond to discovery requests and propound discovery effectively.
  • Draft and respond to subpoenas, including objections when necessary.
  • Assist with managing expert discovery, including coordinating with expert witnesses and preparing related documents.
  • Support attorneys in preparing for depositions, including organizing exhibits and preparing summaries.
  • Assist in assembling trial binders, exhibits, and witness lists.
  • Coordinate logistics and provide on-site support during trial as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
  • Paralegal certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, with a focus on propounding and responding to discovery.
  • At least 1 year of experience with expert discovery and trial preparation.
  • 2+ years of experience in personal injury litigation (Plaintiff or Defense).
  • Strong understanding of statutory deadlines and court procedures.
  • Highly proficient in legal research, drafting, and analysis.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a proven ability to manage complex case files.
  • Collaborative team leader and player with excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with legal case management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of personal injury laws and medical terminology.
