We are a growing mid-sized food manufacturing company. We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead daily plant operations and drive efficiency, quality, and safety in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily plant operations for a single production shift (6:00 AM – 4:00 PM).
- Supervise, coach, and develop a team of 20–25 production employees.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Partner closely with the Operations Manager on scheduling, production planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive operational efficiency and support ongoing investments in automation.
- Maintain a strong presence on the plant floor, ensuring smooth workflow and resolving issues in real time.
- Monitor production metrics, analyze performance, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of leadership experience in food manufacturing or a related industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, quality systems, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven ability to manage teams in a fast-paced production environment.
- Hands-on management style with willingness to spend the majority of time on the plant floor.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience with line automation and continuous improvement initiatives a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range: $90,000 – $100,000
