Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to join a direct hire opportunity in Canton, OH. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the manufacturing sector.
 
Salary: $65,000 - $115,000
M-F first shift with flexibility depending on the project.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, procurement, and quality assurance, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or obstacles that may arise.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the manufacturing industry, with a preference for steel manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera) and other relevant applications.
