Job Title: Quality Inspector
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr. – $22.00/hr.
Shift: 2nd and 3rd shift available
Job Summary:
Responsible for ensuring product quality through audits, testing, and data collection to support compliance and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular audits and visual inspections of products and packing processes. Verify inspection sheets, product labels, equipment functionality, and part dimensions using precision tools. Read engineering drawings to ensure product compliance and accept or reject items based on standards.
- Log inspection data, maintain traceability records, and complete required documentation. Monitor and update quality criteria and sample parts, ensuring availability and proper storage.
- Support training of new employees and reinforce quality procedures. Communicate updates, quality alerts, and provide ongoing guidance.
- Assign or perform rework, verify RMAs, and document non-conforming products. Participate in problem-solving efforts and maintain a clean, safe, and compliant workspace.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 1–3 years’ experience; High school diploma or GED required.
- Machining or injection molding experience preferred.
- Familiarity with problem-solving techniques and ERP systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage several projects.
