Job Description

As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites according to client specifications. You will work closely with design and development teams to create visually appealing and user-friendly web experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of front-end and back-end development technologies and a passion for creating high-quality websites.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain responsive websites, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and optimal performance.
  • Translate design mock-ups and wireframes into clean and efficient code.
  • Implement modern web development best practices to enhance user experience and site functionality.
  • Collaborate with designers and other team members to ensure seamless integration of design and development elements.
  • Write clean, well-organized HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.
  • Utilize front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation to streamline development processes.
  • Implement responsive design techniques to create mobile-friendly websites.
  • Optimize web assets for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Develop server-side logic using PHP, Python, Node.js, or other programming languages as required.
  • Design and maintain databases to support web applications.
  • Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and web services as needed.
  • Conduct thorough testing of websites and web applications to identify and fix bugs or issues.
  • Debug code and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
  • Perform browser compatibility testing to ensure consistent performance across different platforms and devices.
  • Document technical specifications and project requirements.
  • Utilize version control systems such as Git for code management and collaboration.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation for all projects and codebases.
  • Stay updated on emerging web development trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Participate in training sessions, workshops, and conferences to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to improve existing processes and workflows.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a web developer, with a strong portfolio of web projects.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries (e.g., Bootstrap, React, Angular).
  • Solid understanding of back-end development concepts and technologies (e.g., PHP, Python, Node.js, SQL).
  • Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Joomla) and e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce).
  • Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards and SEO best practices is a plus.
