Job Description

EverStaff is seeking a Staff Accountant for a reputable company in the Akron/Fairlawn area!

Responsibilities:
  • Reports directly to the Controller.
  • Manage Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), and General Ledger (G/L) functions.
  • Perform account reconciliations.
  • Handle advanced journal entry (JE) duties.
  • Conduct monthly financial reporting audits.
  • Calculate and review overhead costs on a monthly basis.
  • Assist with various month-end closing tasks.
  • Contribute to special finance-related projects as needed.
  • Maintain regular, punctual, and consistent attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 7-10 years of accounting experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with QuickBooks.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

Salary: $60,000-$65,000/yr
