Job Description

We have a client in the financial industry looking for a Staff Accountant to oversee company billing, internal payroll, and perform various accounting functions. This is a fully onsite position on the East side of Cleveland.
  • Preparing daily cash deposits, posting incoming payments, transmitting outgoing client fundings though banking software,
  • Track accounts payable invoices and prepare monthly general ledger.
  • Support disbursements and accounts receivable functions
  • Issue and balance payments (checks and electronic)
  • Maintain fixed asset files and schedules.
  • Oversee and process payroll for internal employees.
Qualifications:
  • At least 4 years of experience in accounting roles
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Peachtree experience a plus and Treasury experience preferred
